In 1992, Ducati brought forth the Monster M900, a stripped-down bike that revealed its trellis frame, perfect for superbikes and 90 degree machines. By doing so, the Italian company pioneered the market for naked bikes and never looked back. The Ducati Monster model quickly became the company's top-selling bike, with 350,000 units sold to loyal customers over the course of three decades. Recently, a devoted Ducati enthusiast named Sebastien Francois Yves Herve De Rose made a pilgrimage from Milan to the Ducati factory in Borgo Panigale to receive his Monster 1200 S Black. The company's CEO Claudio Domenicali and Design Director Andrea Ferraresi awarded him a certificate of authenticity and a design sketch of Angelo Amato in a special ceremony. This event coincided with the announcement of the upcoming release of the new Ducati Monster, set to hit dealers in April 2021. Throughout its history, Ducati has continuously improved the Monster with advancements in technology and design, starting with the M600 and continuing through the second-generation 1100, the new 797, 821, and 1200 variants.

Looking forward to 2021, Ducati is set to release the newest 937 cc version of the Monster.
This stripped-down motorcycle will be shedding its trellis frame in favor of an aluminum chassis, as it takes on a growing number of competitors in the nakedbike market. This sleek road warrior will pack a punch with 111 horsepower, 93 Nm of torque, and a lean dry weight of only 166 kilograms. It's clear that Ducati is ready to reclaim its spot at the top of the heap. This Monster is poised for a fierce battle, and we can't wait to witness it firsthand. If things go according to plan, we might even see this model continue to dominate for the next three decades. With projected sales of over 350,000 units, it's safe to say that Ducati is looking towards a bright future.
